When deep tissue is the right hour
Guests in Brickell often ask the same question: Swedish or deep tissue? Both are full-body massage. The difference is pace, pressure, and what you want the hour to change.
A Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes to quiet the nervous system. It is the right first visit for most people, and the treatment we recommend when the goal is to leave lighter than you arrived.
A deep tissue massage is slower. The therapist works layer by layer into muscle that has stayed tight through desk weeks, travel, or training. It is not a contest of force. You stay in control of the pressure the entire time.
Signs deep tissue is the better booking
- Your neck, shoulders, or lower back stop responding to a lighter massage
- You sit for long hours in Brickell offices or drive across Miami most days
- You want focused work more than a purely relaxing hour
If you are sore from a hard week but still want the room to feel calm, say so at the start. We can keep the session deep where it helps and softer everywhere else.
Time and price
Deep tissue at Neo Brickell Massage is $95 for 60 minutes, $140 for 90 minutes, and $180 for two hours. Hot stones are included. Many guests choose 90 minutes when the tension has been sitting for a while.
